One night at the Apollo.....

Being here was epic....
a piece of heritage where our feet touched, lay
solid foundation
stone on stone
note for note....

A place of twisted power plays,
cheeky pale bodies wooing men's fantasies
burlesque style.....

To minstril handclapping choruses

To a place of inception

Much respect to resident historian Mr. Billy Mitchell, who although doesn't conduct tours except for on a Saturday, made our journey totally worthwhile by showing us hospitality....God bless u!  The feeling of being in such a historic place where legends have been made and frequented, still sends chills down my spine!  Lol, was truly epic.

NYC was great, but will have to do it again...not really enuf time to take it all in.  And it was cold....really cold

And who cud even speak of Trini??? After not having been there for over 10 years, it was nothing short of stunningly beautiful - much respek to da famz who made all of us feel so comfortable and made the experience so enjoyable!!

Salibai Beach by Toco

It was particularly amazin for Leri and famz to see where we come from.....and doubles? bake and shark? punch a creme?
too much to digest in just 1 week!  We will most certainly be back....esp for sum Manicou courtesy of Uncle Glen...

THAT.....is Manicou
Well that's enuf on our journeys for now.  God willin there will be many more to come, esp with some of y'all reaching SA side!  I have to say it's so blessed being here at (TO) home with the whole family again; we're only missing Leri's famz who went back home yesterday.  They should be arrivin tom God willin.
aight famz, keep on trusting and believin on Him who is the King of kings and Lion of lions.
Nuff luv

Pemiccan to Piarco

Cold to Curepe
Snow to sand....
a beautiful progression ent?

Lol, a minute it's been since i've seen these shores...bout 12 years to be exact.
We getting ready for a trip Toko side tomorrow then Tobago the following day....wish i had pics on me but using uncle's computer and someone else got the camera...visualization will have to do it.

Well i seen seeds of the last of winter gasp
perhaps the first, birthed in a cold terrain
bubbling over, no word.....speech or diction could capture
that which we see these days - blaze, wind, burn, earth churn......
no explanation would suffice other than that which comes directly from God's mouth

doubt, fear and frustration cloud thoughts, research, premonitions; sun, shine, grace and truth find no resting place except in the hearts of the faithful - they only visit and whisper rumours down corridors drowned in the mirth of self-deception...hoping, believing, percieving that one sweet day rubble will reduce and render them home.....
